Refund Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for ContentPulse subscriptions and Usage Credits. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
Summary
- There is a free account so you can evaluate ContentPulse before paying. Because of that, paid fees are non-refundable once a paid plan begins.
- You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period, with no partial refund.
- Zero-usage exception: if you cancel without having generated any content or ideas in your current billing period, we refund that period's payment, less the non-refundable payment-processor fee, and move you to Free immediately.
- Otherwise, the only refunds we issue are for non-delivery of the Services, or a genuine duplicate/erroneous charge, plus any non-waivable statutory rights you have.
This summary is provided for convenience only and is not a substitute for the full terms below.
1. Subscription Billing
ContentPulse subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renew automatically until cancelled. Each billing period grants a fixed allocation of Usage Credits, which do not roll over to the next period. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our payment processor and merchant of record; your statement will show a charge from Paddle.
2. Free Account (No Paid Trial)
ContentPulse offers a free account so you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid plan. We do not offer paid trials. Because you can assess the Services at no cost before purchasing, paid subscriptions and Usage Credits are non-refundable once a paid plan begins, except as set out in this policy.
3. Cancellations
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law (see Section 5).
4. General "No Refund" Rule
Because you can evaluate ContentPulse with a free account before paying, and because Usage Credits and AI processing are consumed and incur costs as soon as they are used, fees are non-refundable once a paid plan begins. This includes, without limitation: partially used billing periods, unused or expired Usage Credits, change of mind after Content has been generated, and downgrades. Promotional or discounted purchases are likewise non-refundable, and taxes are non-refundable except where required by law. A failed or reversed payment ends paid access immediately, and we do not provide the paid allowance for any unpaid period. Plan downgrades and upgrades are pro-rated against future billing rather than refunded. The only circumstances in which we issue a refund are described in Section 6.
5. Statutory Consumer Rights (UK/EU and others)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. However, by starting to use the Services (for example, by generating Content or consuming Usage Credits) during this period, you acknowledge that the service has begun and you may lose the right to cancel for the portion already supplied. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.
6. When We Will Issue a Refund
ContentPulse issues a refund only in the following circumstances:
- Zero-usage cancellation. If you cancel while you have generated no content and no ideas in your current billing period, we refund that period's most recent payment, less the non-refundable payment-processor fee (see Section 7), and downgrade your workspace to the Free plan immediately. Any usage in the period, on a monthly or annual plan, ends this eligibility.
- Non-delivery. Where the Services materially fail to be delivered or to function as described and we are unable to remedy the problem within a reasonable time, we will refund the affected fees to your original payment method.
- Duplicate or erroneous charge. A genuine duplicate or billing error will be corrected.
Outside of these circumstances, and subject to your non-waivable statutory rights (Section 5), all fees are non-refundable.
7. Payment-Processor Fees
When we issue a refund, the transaction fee charged by our payment processor (Paddle) on the original payment is not returned. Because that fee is retained by the processor and is outside our control, every refund we issue — including eligible zero-usage cancellations — is for the amount you paid less that non-refundable payment-processing fee, except where the law requires a full refund.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback for Services validly rendered is a breach of these terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and recovery of associated costs, in addition to any non-waivable statutory rights you retain under Section 5.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or raise a billing question, email [email protected] with your account email and the relevant invoice or transaction details. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or replace this Refund Policy at any time and at our sole discretion, for example to reflect changes in our Services, our payment processor, or applicable law. Any change takes effect when the revised policy is posted on this page with an updated revision date, and we are not obliged to give you individual or advance notice. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention, such as a notice on our website or an email where appropriate. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically, and your continued use of the Services after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Services and may cancel as described above. Changes are not retrospective and do not affect a refund that has already been determined under the version of this policy in force at the time.
